I can't believe SRM can put such a great EDC FOR SO LITYLE MONEY in your pocket.. IT'S VERY SOLID, and feels like they wanted to sell a value knife. Strong, Sharp blade, no hot spots. This can be a work horse that you won't mind beating up. The weight is a little up there but to me it makes me feel I got my monies worth. Absolutely buy one, it's a solid buy.....
I just can't believe for under $30 you can get a knife made this well and to top it off, good looking and sharp right out of the box. It's a great EDC, Maybe a little heavy but that's what makes me feel, I got a deal and this guy will be around a long time. . You absolutely can't go wrong, .unless you are picturing a $150.00 blade. Seeking of the blade it's between satin and polishedd,, super good looking. Get this one, impossible to go wrong!
So here are my thoughts, I really like the Canadian design. I’ve wanted one of these for a while and finally broke down. I love 3V, have a BR mini kephart and it is awesome. I assume this 3v will be as well. If you are thinking of getting the regular Canadian special vs the LT, get the LT. I initially thought they sent the wrong one since it is pretty thick. I measured it and it is .150 not .145. Still plenty thick for anything I will do and .170 (which is the thickness of the original)for this size knife would be overkill. I have to compare this to the Lil Canadian and see where I am at with thickness. Didn’t arrive crazy sharp like my other Bark Rivers but good enough. Will take it out and see how it does with wood and other adventures.
This is my first Tops knife, and boy am I impressed. It instantly became the best knife I have ever owned. No doubt this knife will become a family heirloom. The fit and finish of the knife, handle, and sheath are incredible! For a large knife its well balanced. Love the way the knife locks into the sheath, great sense of security. Highly recommend!
